Workshop Report: Implementing and Financing Energy Efficient Power Plants Projects in Hebei Province
China has established aggressive goals for energy efficiency. Many energy efficiency and Demand Side Management (DSM) programs are being established by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) as well as by provincial Development and Reform Commissions. The Province of Hebei aims to establish a 600 MW energy efficiency power plant (EPP) and reduce electricity consumption by 15 billion kWh during the period 2009 to 2013. This report outlines areas of future coordination to support DSM development in Hebei province.
